Trend tools answer two questions: where price is moving and whether that movement has enough strength to matter.
Issue #7-2 introduces the core trend toolkit: moving averages for direction and ADX for conviction. The practical insight is that price direction alone is not enough. Investors also need to know whether trend is strong enough to trust.
This is where regime awareness starts to matter. By separating trending from non-trending conditions, the issue prepares readers to interpret later indicators correctly instead of applying the same logic everywhere.
It is one of the key structural pieces in the technical track because later issues on momentum, volatility, and workflow all depend on this regime lens.
