The Market Is Not a Calculator: Why Facts Don't Always Move Prices

Facts matter, but price moves through narrative, perception, and timing. Investors need to understand both business reality and market psychology.

Issue #3 introduces an uncomfortable but necessary truth: information does not move directly into price. Markets are social systems, and in the short term they often reward the most compelling narrative rather than the cleanest spreadsheet.

The argument is not anti-fundamental. It is a warning that facts need time, context, and market acceptance before they are reflected in price. This helps readers understand why strong businesses can still fall, why weak businesses can rally, and why process matters more than emotional certainty.

Together with the first two issues, this completes the mental reset required for the rest of the curriculum: framework first, ownership second, psychology always.
